The Erwin Library Needs Your Help!
My name is Bill Dustin and I am the Founder and Content Director for What's Happening in Boonville, New York (WHIBNY) on Facebook. My father, Bob Dustin, is on the Board of Erwin Library and Institute (ELI).
Last year, the ELI Board asked that WHIBNY help them to secure funds for an important replacement.
The Erwin Library had a defective Microfilm Reader. The reader is the only way to access the archives/old issues of the Boonville Herald that are stored on microfilm at the library (the Boonville Herald began publication in 1852). Well, we have some GREAT news. The existing Microfilm Reader was replaced and it was due to the wonderful support received from the community!
We may have reached our initial mission, but there is still work to be done at the Erwin Library up to and including facilities repair and upkeep as well as the continued development of the new parking lot and park area.
Please donate if you can, anything helps, and share with others. 100% of your donations go to Erwin Library and Institute. GoFundMe mails them a check on the 15th of every month. Happy holidays; together we can make it happen!
Sincerely,
Bill Dustin @ WHIBNY
