Sheltered Family in need'
Donation protected
Eva and I Thank You for giving us the time to share our story. And though I do feel this is an improbable solution to our situation, anything at this point will suffice. Whether its a small donation, advice, or a prayer.
My One year old daughter, Eva and I, currently stay at a shelter for domestic abuse families. Its been two months now and though I am thankful for having a roof over our heads, everyday is a struggle.
After about a year of my husband putting his hands me in front of our daughter, I knew I had to leave. Especially for the sake of my daughter. This isn't the life I chose for my Daughter. The matter of truth is that you can never anticipate anything from anyone, and this is one of them.
I look into her eyes and I feel as If I failed as a mother. So many years Ive been working as a nurses' aid in a hospital helping others feel better, to get them back on their feet, and now in return I ask for a little bit of hope, a bit of happiness not just for myself, but also for an innocent child who deserves to grow life on a clean slate.
With the donated money, I will provide for myself and Eva a stable home, a new apartment. Eva just started walking a couple weeks ago and the shelter has no space for a one year old to be roaming around. All I want is a roof over our heads. My savings for Eva and I were taken out by her father, and all I can provide right now is food, and her basic necessities.
Thank you so much for your time. And may God Bless you as He has done to me.
