Moving to KS to support our family!

Pictured above is my mother holding her first grandchild, my son, when he was about two weeks old.
On September 8th, 2014 my mother was a pedestrian who was hit by someone driving a minivan. She remained in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at KU Medical Center until September 22nd when she was finally moved into a standard hospital room.
My family is going to need a lot of support in the months to come so my husband and I have decided to move to Kansas so we can offer that support.
The thing is, while we have a lot of elbow greese and gumption to offer my family in the months to come - with our 7 month old son the costs of moving are near impossible for us to come up with. We have help from a lot of friends and family but, realistically, we're still coming up short. Our deposit and rent are paid for but when it comes to food, gas, and some other moving expenses we're struggling.
If anyone has anything to give to help out, our family would greatly appreciate it.
