100,000 steps over domestic abuse
Hey guys! With everything going on I really wanted to try and do something to help. There’s a lot of lives being damaged or lost from Covid-19. There’s also a lot of us enjoying the time at home with our loved ones during lockdown. But this isn’t the case for everyone. Domestic abuse has surged and all charities are struggling to keep up with the higher demand. Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service is a local charity helping victims and families affected by domestic abuse. They do a fantastic job and even spend time in schools helping children who have witnessed this kind of abuse. Both at the moment, and when life starts going back to normal again, there is going to be a huge need to support those who have had a tough time during lockdown.
On Saturday I’ll be walking 100,000 steps in ONE DAY, obviously abiding by all social distancing rules. That’s about 50 miles... 15-16 hours of non stop walking! I average 20,000 a day and that’s hard enough! Help me walk all over domestic abuse and donate!
