For Billy

As most people now know Billy was in a very serious motorbike accident on new years eve while in South Australia. Billy has severely broken his back and severed his spinal cord. His chances of walking again are very minimal however our boy is strong and we'll do everything to give him a chance. He also damaged lungs due to impact and has a broken rib. His brain does show bruising however until he wakes up we cant fully tell what injury his brain has sustained. Billy has been on a ventilator for 2 days now but is stable and out of pain. His sedation will be slowly reduced over the next coming days, he's already switching his hands!

It's very rare for my family to ask for help as we prefer toughing it out and doing it ourself but this time we do need help. Medical bills will start adding up as Billy will be in hospital for a long time, our house needs to be set up and safe for him to come home too, flights so we can be with him along with accommodation and anything else that is thrown at us down the track. Our family is separated as our boy is in Adelaide and it will several weeks until we can get him home to Melbourne.

Also just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been supporting my family and boys that were with Billy at the time without there quick thinking it could have been such a different story!
