REPEAL THE NFA

My name is George Peterson. I was an FFL holder and a Firearms Safety Instructor in the Greater New Orleans area. I am one of the founders of the Louisiana Constitution Bootcamp and one of the most knowledgeable 2nd Amendment advocates in Louisiana.

On June 29, 2022, Asst US Atty Charles Strauss Jr orchestrated and coordinated a "dog and pony show" where under the color of law the US Atty office conspired with ATF to conduct an illegal raid on my business premises and residence using a warrant that was based on false and misleading information to the court. During the raid ATF unlawfully seized nearly $400,000 worth of legally owned inventory of the FFL. In addition ATF discovered a personally owned 22lr solvent trap suppressor which was not registered under the NFA.

Of everything the ATF did that day seizing paperwork and computers and files and all of the false and misleading information in the affidavit for the warrant, the sole charge is for the unregistered suppressor.

I have agreed to a conditional plea agreement that allows me to challenge the Constitutionality of the NFA in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

We are raising money for my legal defense fund to cover my attorney fees for the appeals process. Our goal is to take this to the Supreme Court if necessary, in order to have the courts declare the NFA as Unconstitutional and vacate the law as Null.
