Vereinsziel: Aufbau von Vorschulen in der Al Haouz Provinz (betroffene Region) um der hohen Analphabetenrate entgegenzuwirken (insbes. Bei Mädchen)

Durch diese Arbeit ist sie bestens vernetzt in den kleinen isolierten Dörfern (manche nur mit wenigen Häusern). Zudem arbeiten sie mit nationalen und internationalen Partnern zusammen. Aktuell leisten sie unmittelbare Hilfe in den betroffenen Dörfern, organisieren Wasser, Unterkünfte, Essen.

2. Sieben Ähren

www.siebenaehren.de: Ein in Frankfurt am Main ansässige gemeinnütziger Verein. Zweck des Vereins ist die Entwicklungshilfe, insbesondere durch Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, Maßnahmen zur Aus- und Fortbildung von Kindern. Der Verein hat große Erfahrung in der Nothilfe-Arbeit in erdbebenbetroffenen Gebieten und ist aktuell auch in Marokko im Einsatz, um Hilfe zu leisten. In Marokko arbeitet Sieben Ähren mit der "Association des Amis CHU Mohamed VI Marrakech" ("Verein der Freunde der Universitätsklinik Mohamed VI. Marrakech") zusammen, um unmittelbare Hilfe zu leisten. https://amischuma.org

3. GlobalGiving - Project Soar: Frauen und Mädchen sind in Katastrophenfällen meist besonderer Gefahr ausgesetzt und daher besonders schützenswert. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass sie in diesen ohnehin katastrophalen Kontexten Opfer von Gewaltverbrechen werden, in dem sie sexuelle Gewalt erfahren, sie zwangsverheiratet werden oder als „Kindermädchen“ bzw „Haushaltshilfen“ ausgebeutet werden. Auch wenn der König Marokkos vor ein paar Tagen Schutz dieser vulnerablen Gruppen zugesagt hat, finden wir es wichtig, entsprechende NGOs zu unterstützen.

Die Organisation wurde von Yasmina Benslimane gegründet - einer sehr engagierten jungen marokkanischen Frau.

Goal of the association: Construction of preschools in the Al Haouz province (affected region) to counteract the high illiteracy rate (especially among girls).

Through this work they are well connected in the small isolated villages (some with only a few houses). They also work with national and international partners. Currently they are providing direct aid in the affected villages, organizing water, shelter, food.

2. Sieben Ähren

www.siebenaehren.de: A non-profit association based in Frankfurt am Main. The purpose of the association is development aid, especially by helping people to help themselves, measures for the education and training of children. The association has great experience in emergency aid work in earthquake-affected areas and is currently also working in Morocco to provide assistance. In Morocco, Seven Ears of Corn is working with the "Association des Amis CHU Mohamed VI Marrakech" ("Association of Friends of the Mohamed VI University Hospital Marrakech") to provide immediate aid. https://amischuma.org

3. GlobalGiving - Project Soar: Women and girls are usually exposed to particular danger in disaster situations and are therefore especially worthy of protection. There is a risk that they become victims of violent crimes in these already catastrophic contexts, in which they experience sexual violence, they are forcibly married or they are exploited as "nannies" or "household helpers". Even though the King of Morocco promised protection for these vulnerable groups a few days ago, we think it is important to support relevant NGOs.

The organization was founded by Yasmina Benslimane - a very committed young Moroccan woman.

Wir sind Asmaa El Idrissi und Sarah Sefiane, beide Frauen marokkanischer Herkunft, die in Deutschland leben.

Marokko wurde in der Nacht zum 9.9.2023 von einem starken Erdbeben erschüttert, welches bis Stand jetzt (9.9. 13:30 MESZ) mehr als 820 Tote und mindestens 329 Verletzte zur Folge hatte. Nach diesen tragischen Geschehnissen bitten wir Euch um finanzielle Unterstützung der betroffenen Menschen in dem Erdbebengebiet. Jeder noch so kleine Beitrag kann entscheidend dazu beitragen, dass diese Gemeinschaften ihr Leben wieder aufbauen können. Die betroffene Region ist eine der ärmsten Marokkos und darum besonders hilfsbedürftig.

Die Mittel gehen direkt in die betroffene Region und kommen bei denjenigen an, die sie am dringendsten benötigen. Eure Unterstützung kann dann dazu beitragen, Unterkünfte bereitzustellen, Häuser wiederaufzubauen und weitere Soforthilfe zu leisten.

Einzelheiten zu dem Erdbeben:

Marokko wurde am Samstagabend, den 8. September 2023, von einem schweren Erdbeben erschüttert. Bisher wurden mehr als 820 Menschen getötet, mindestens 329 weitere Personen wurden verletzt (9.9.23 13.30 Uhr MEST).

Nach Angaben des United States Geological Survey (USGS) lag das Epizentrum des Bebens der Stärke 6,8 etwa 72 Kilometer südwestlich von Marrakesch im dünn besiedelten Atlasgebirge.

Diese Region ist eine der ärmsten in Marokko - schnelle Hilfe für die Menschen in Not ist daher von größter Bedeutung.

We are Asmaa El Idrissi and Sarah Sefiane, both women of Moroccan origin living in Germany.

Following the tragic event of the earthquake in Morocco, we're reaching out to humbly ask for your help in providing financial support to those affected by this tragedy. Every small contribution can make a significant difference in helping these communities rebuild their lives.

The funding will go directly to the affected region and to those that need it the most. Your support can help provide shelter, rebuild houses and further immediate needs.

Details of the event:

Morocco was shaken by a massive earthquake Saturday night, 8th September 2023. As of now, more then 820 people were killed, at least 329 more people are injured (9.9.23 1.30 pm MEST).

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the 6.8-magnitude quake was located about 72 kilometers southwest of Marrakech in the sparsely populated Atlas Mountains.

This region is one of the poorest regions in Morocco - hence, fast aid for people in need is of utmost importance.
