Education Fund For Amy Jager's Children

Amy Jager passed away on December 21, 2021 at age 31.  You can read Amy's obituary in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.

She leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Penelope, age 6, and Cordelia, age 5. They are loved and well cared for by their father Jim. 

 

This fundraiser is managed by me, Ryan Jager, Amy's brother. I am working together with my parents to help ensure that Amy's children will have an opportunity to receive a quality post-high school education (e.g., college, vocational, technical). 

Whatever amount you choose to give will be received with great appreciation and love from our family. Amy was fortunate to have many caring family members and friends. She would be overwhelmed with gratitude by your generosity. Any amount you contribute is a tremendous gift that honors Amy's memory by helping her children achieve a prosperous future.

 

We plan to establish either a 529 savings plan or a trust for Penelope and Cordelia. This fundraiser is the start of a years-long endeavor to save, manage, invest, and ultimately distribute the money that will fund their post-high school educations. Once funds are placed in a 529 plan or  trust, they may only be used to finance higher education. This something we feel is important to honor Amy's memory and help look out for her children as they grow into adulthood.
