Thadei is a smart guy 14 year old who loves reading and following the rest of the world. That’s why the internet is his good friend. He follows the lives in developed countries and his peer’s lives. He also cares about the world’s problems like the environment, saving food, education… He is willing to change his village first! Then he wants to help the people who have this kind of problems in the future. Let’s look from closer of his and his friends’ inspiring effort/struggle.
In the African countries where millions of people have fought for life. Thadei's village is one of these areas. Because they don't have necessary equipment, technology, their lives are more difficult and need more struggle than us, our lives. They produce, dry, cook, work in primitive conditions. Shortly: they live in primitive conditions.
Gonja Mwala Organic is a farm in the northern part of Tanzania, near the mountains, providing food for nearby cities and schools. The problem is, in the dry season, it's really hard to preserve food or cultivate the because they don't have modern machinery . They lose most of their products due to this lack of technology. Not only the products but also they lost their labor subsequently their children due to lack of food. You can also respond to the rising cry for help from Tanzania.
Thadei looked for solution with his older friend Seraphine. Seraphine's Italian friend Giancarlo joined them to solve it. Thadei thought go fund me can give them what they need and more like sharing, caring. Because “Caring is sharing”. Now they and their some volunteer friends all together are working for Thadei’ campaign to reach equal rights and conditions.
…
They just need technology to heal their prosperity
This campaign will give them not only once funding but also lifelong sustainable income. Donations are for buying tractor & solar dryer once but actually for lifelong investment in main needs such as surviving, education, health, agriculture, saving food, active role of women in working life.
We can look at some daily expenses in developed countries to see the importance of the donations:
How much do we spend on a friday night out?
The average european people spend 150€ at weekend in recreative activities. The figure is based on a survey of 2,300 people by night club and bar operator. If these 2,300 people funded our project for only one friday expense, our project would be covered 15 times.
Only 2 families for 4 peoples dining out per year can cover our project.
If you can contribute as one of your dinner expense or friday night out cost expense as, It means a lot for us and especially for the people in Tanzania who are the main characters of this campaign.
