Help for a Raptor Rehabilitation Centre
Each season brings different challenges that bring birds of prey into care.
This season has had a huge impact on Barn Owls, who have been poisoned, caught in barbed wire or had an impact injury. Combined with
baby season it certainly is challenging.
The centre is self funded - I work full time and rescue as many birds of prey as I can - often lining my desk at work with baskets of babies.
Currently Baby Bookbooks.
The Centre has a few Collared Sparrow Hawks, Eagles and many Owls - this requires specialist care and a whole lot of rabbits and mice to
keep these birds in top condition prior to release.
I travel to Stanthorpe on a regular basis for rabbit - and to the Sunshine Coast for Rats and Mice. Any help to share the cost would be amazing, especially with the price of petrol at the moment.
The areas I cover range from out West, up North and around Brisbane - all the way out to Dalby and beyond!
