Help me to participate in Judo at the Paralympics
Donation protected
Hi my Name is Jake and I’m aspiring to become a Paralympic champion. Hopefully, by the end of my journey, I will have achieved this. However this will take a few things like time, partcipating in competitions and money. To achieve my long-term goal I need to travel around the world and I would ask for your help to do it all. In order to even have a chance in getting into the Paralympics for judo, I need to work my way up the world ranking system. This is something I have not done yet as we have too few blind and visually impaired Judokers here in Australia for me to compete against. For this reason I have to go elsewhere around the world, where other fellow blind and visually impaired Judokers are. For me to make it into the Paralympics, I need to be within the top six blind and visually impaired Judo players in the world. At this point in time I don’t know how good I am and I want to find out and test myself against them. The first of these competitions is in Birmingham, England in August 2023 and will cost myself and my coach around $10,000. Other international competition costs will vary, depending on where they are. Your help will be greatly appreciated if you can forward some money and I thank you very much in advance for your donations. You can track my progress in terms of training and competitions on both my Instagram account, at jake.fitzpatrick1999_judo and my Facebook Account Jake Fitzpatrick.
