Education & Volunteer Program in Panama City
Donation protected
Main Goal (right now, 2023!): Raise the funds ($7,000) to register Localinpty Kids Program as an official Non-Governmental Organization in Panama. This will enable the program to receive funding and support more easily, both domestically and internationally. We have a great local lawyer; all we need is to pay for him, as well as the government registration fees. We have calculated these costs to be around $7,000.
Localinpty Kids Program was created in 2017 by two Panamanian friends with huge hearts (Victor Peretz and Christian Hazlewood) with the goal to provide educational programs in a safe and loving environment to children living in a neighborhood of Panama City called El Chorrillo. They have been doing this successfully in collaboration with volunteers from all over the world, as well as with local and international businesses, embassies, and organizations, and generous donations from people like you!
Previous donations have provided the kids (especially during the Pandemic) with school supplies, books, nutritious snacks, and local educational field trips. Of course, what is also provided is the experience that the kids deserve, which is to enjoy their childhood in a safe, caring, loving, healthy, and nurturing environment.
Once the Program is registered as an NGO, the donations will continue to support the purchases of the aforementioned supplies, snacks, and field trips.
