Six years old and Cycling 300km to Paris 2024 for charity

WE DID IT!! We cycled 307km or 192 miles and even made it to the Eiffel Tower, Arch du Triumph and Notre Dame! It was hard at times and even on the first day I didn't think we would make it. I'm so thankful to everyone who has donated, what an incredible amount! I can't wait to distribute the funds! Take a look at our Facebook page 'Seren's Big Bike Ride' to read how it went!

Hi thanks for visiting our fundraising donation website, my name is Seren and I’m 6 years old and my Mum is called Hannah and she’s old.

This summer holidays we are cycling to Paris where the Olympics and Paralympics are going to be. We are hoping to cycle 350km! It’s a very long way, I’m going to be learning a lot and meeting new people along the way. I also want to use this challenge to raise funds for my community and for homeless people like Ashley in Horsham who doesn’t have a home but wants one.

We are taking all our stuff with us on the bikes (I’m carrying some pencils, paints, paper and snacks, and a cuddly toy). We’ve been practicing long bike rides and cycling to school lots. We are staying in our tent. I am worried my legs will get tired but I am looking forward to going in the swimming pools at some of the campsites.

There are so many things that need money near where I live in Kirdford so I want to share what we raise between several that are important to me.

1. My school (Plaistow and Kirdford)

2. Holy Trinity Church in Plaistow (we need a loo and to make it for all our community to use)

3. Kirdford Good News Club so more children can go. I love going along, the volunteers are always so kind and have nice biscuits

4. 1st Wisborough Green Scout Group where I go to Beavers (my mum is Beaver Leader!)

5. Turning Tides, who support homeless people in West Sussex

Even a little bit of money can help each of these causes so I am hoping people will donate whatever they can spare to help us give them all a little bit.
