The Return Journey in memory of Sgt Gordy Adam
Donation protected
In 2005 my brother and I walked the WHW to help raise some money for a local youth charity. Once completed he made it clear he would never do it again and of course I would often joke that we have to do it from Fort William down to Milngavie! (something I was sure we would at some point get round to doing.) This endeavour as tough as it was gave Gordon the inspiration to join The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Sadly in 2019 he lost a long battle with his mental health and 5 years on and what would have been his 40th Birthday, myself and his friends from Scots DG will embark on 'The Return Journey' in memory of Sgt Gordon Adam - We will walk the West Highland Way in 3 days (2nd June - 4th June) to raise money for The Samaritans, Golden Friendships, Clydebank and Thrive, Stewarton.
