Access In Dudley and Prostate Cancer Research
Donation protected
My name is Steve Waltho and I am a former Councillor and Mayor of Dudley. I am honoured to be Patron of a local charity called Access In Dudley which campaigns for better access to services, buildings and transport for those with disabilities. In 2014 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer which was carefully monitored by our wonderful NHS until it became necessary for surgery in November 2021. It was carried out at New Cross Hospital by brilliant surgeon Peter Cooke. I am indebted to him and his team and learned so much about the disease that my message to all men is "Please get checked ... it could save your life"! Commencing March 14th I will be attempting 18 peaks in the Lake District within a timeframe of 18 hours and would welcome sponsorship for these two wonderful causes. Thank you for your kind consideration.
