The Show Must Go On - Keep ACR on air

Local DJ Pete Casey will host this Saturday's on-air concert with more than 30 local musicians to keep local not-for-profit community radio station on air. 

The Show Must Go On will broadcast live this Saturday May 16th at 8pm, you can listen on 88.4fm, online www.athlonecommunityradio.ie/listen-live , the tunein app, and on fb live www.facebook.com/acr884. The videos will also be available to view on Athlone Community Radio's facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic Athlone Community Radio has been to the fore ensuring up to date factual information every day for their listeners and followers. However their income streams have dried up and not an organisation to sit around, they have came up with a novel fundraising idea that will not only offer entertainment but also an opportunity for people to donate to keep their not for profit radio station open. Their bills are still coming in so let’s all get behind this and give what you can to ensure after Covid-19 we still have a community radio
that is the Voice of Athlone.
