In Memory of Alexis Taylor-Boll: Susan G. Komen Fundraiser

Tax deductible
Alexis Taylor-Boll, age 69, passed away from a car accident on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 in Guntersville, Alabama. Shortly before her passing, she found out that she was in remission from breast cancer.

With a renewed spirit and a changed outlook on life, it was her goal to do everything she could to support the progress being made toward finding a cure for breast cancer. Unfortunately, her life was tragically cut short before she could act on that goal.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for consideration to be made toward helping Alexis with her goal. Donations are being collected here for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

This foundation was dear to Alexis and her family's heart for a variety of reasons. Most prominently, her daughter Devon's soccer team raised money for the foundation throughout the years during many soccer games. Alexis was her biggest cheerleader; she could always be heard screaming at the top of her lungs from the sidelines. Her boisterous cheering may have embarrassed Devon at the time, but she now fondly remembers those times as an example of her mother's ability to spread joy, love, and encouragement to everyone in her life.

We thank you for your consideration during this time.

Rest in peace, Mummykins. ❤️

With love,
Gary, Devon, and Dalton Boll

A memorial service for friends and family in Alabama will be held at 3pm on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at the Gunter’s Landing Golf Course clubhouse located at 1000 Gunter’s Landing Road, Guntersville, AL 35976. A celebration of life will be held in New Glarus, Wisconsin in July of 2026 (details to follow).

Susan G. Komen

Susan G. Komen is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research since our inception in 1982 than any other nonprofit outside of the federal government while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. Komen has funded more than $988 million in research and provided more than $2.2 billion for screening, education, treatment and psychosocial support programs serving millions of people in more than 60 countries worldwide. Komen was founded by Nancy G. Brinker, who promised her sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would end the disease that claimed Suzy’s life. That promise has become Komen’s promise to all people facing breast cancer.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most. If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to us.
