Support for Alicia, Will, Dyllan, & Kayla Troiano
Donation protected
My name is Chris Vecchione (Uncle to Alicia) and the family has set up this Go Fund Me campaign in hopes to support this family that needs to be lifted up and fully supported.
Please consider supporting the Troiano family after an unexpected tragedy which struck on Sunday, February 11th 2024.
Alicia (mom) and Dyllan (son - 16) were traveling together, by car, to a "celebration of life" event for another family from the community who had recently experienced a loss of life. While driving to the celebration of life event, Alicia and Dyllan were involved in a horrific automobile accident.
Dyllan, tragically was killed instantly from the crash.
Alicia, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the nearest hospital in Ahoskie, NC. That hospital was not equipped to manage her injuries so she was transported 70 miles away to East Carolina University Medical Center in Greenville.
Alicia and Will moved their small family to Woodland, North Carolina from Connecticut three years ago. The dream of home ownership was one of the things that lured them away from Connecticut where they had rented since marrying 15 years ago. The second lure was the thought of giving Dyllan and Kayla the ability to continue to grow up under the love and constant spoiling of Gramps and Grammie (Gary and Angela (Vecchione) Williams) Alicia's parents who a few years earlier had moved also to North Carolina to seek their own home ownership and to enjoy the charms of the "south".
Prior to this accident, Alicia has relied on tutoring children in her community as a means of work, while Will is self-employed supporting the technology field.
This tragic event that unfolded on February 11th has devastated their small family, the local community, and their family members that they left behind primarily in New England.
Their growing expenses include, but are not limited to:
1.) the medical bills related to Alicia's injuries (the family does not have medical insurance),
2.) the need for a replacement vehicle as the vehicle Alicia and Dyllan were in is a total loss and was the only vehicle the family had,
3.) the funeral expenses to bury their 16-year old son Dyllan,
4.) additional expenses incurred as Alicia will be out of work for the foreseeable future,
5.) the hope that financial support from those that love this family will help ease some of the burden and allow them to focus on healing physically, mentally, and especially emotionally.
The increasing costs and debts mentioned above will be an impossible hurdle to clear without the additional support from the friends and family of Alicia, Will, Dyllan, and Kayla Troiano.
No parent should ever have to bury a son, and a 13-year old sister should not have to face a day without her older brother - her best friend. Unfortunately, Alicia, Will, and Kayla do have to painfully part with Dyllan in this life - they shouldn't also have to desperately plan for the financial cost of doing so.
I'm asking that anyone with the means, please consider a financial donation to this fund as a tangible way to love, support and care for Alicia, Will, Dyllan and Kayla in this great time of need. The family wants to thank the outpouring of support they have already received and ask for your continued thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement in the coming days, weeks, months, and years ahead as they bind together as a family.
Thank you for considering this request - Dyllan you are FOREVER in our hearts.
