To our community, One of our own Almonte families tragically lost their 9 year old son Archer on the afternoon of June 25th 2025. He was a vibrant kid who loved soccer and pokemon. He had a big smile and he loved riding his bike. He loved animals, especially his dog, Moose. He wanted to be a soccer player when he grew up. Most of all he loved his family. This family needs our support during this absolutely unimaginable time. Every bit of support means the world to them as they don't have a large network here in town. We’re hoping to raise funds for funeral arrangements, a celebration of life in his honour, therapy and counselling, and to provide relief so the family can take time to grieve. Lets rally behind Sarah and Nathan as best we can, Almonte. **Update June 28th 2025** Thank you so much to everyone. Sarah and Nathan are overwhelmed with the support and love they have received in response to the loss of their sweet little boy, Archer. This fundraiser started with a goal of 15k to help cover immediate expenses and unforeseen ceremony costs and counselling costs for the family. The goal kept being increased automatically by GoFundMe, but we have restored it back to 15k where we intended it to be. We are so proud of our community and surrounding friends and neighbours who have contributed to this fundraiser and sent their love and support to this family, you have truly gone above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We feel that we have far exceeded our goal for financial assistance and wanted to extend a massive thank you.
