August Family Fire Fund

On the night of Aug 25th, tragedy struck the August family. My best friend, Kathleen, and her 3 children have been displaced due to a fire in their complex. Along with losing many of their personal belongings, Kathleens youngest son, Vincent, has been taken to hospital in Vancouver for burns and smoke inhalation. While Kathleen remains in Vancouver with Vincent, her other two children are staying here in Duncan with family. Kathleen is a single mom with a fulltime job, she is loving and caring and kind to everyone - and this beautiful soul could really use some suport right now. I am hoping to raise $5000 to go towards food and accomodations for her while she is staying in Vancouver, to help her family take care of her other two children waiting back home, lost wages, finding a new place, and any other unexpected expenses that come along with something horrible like this! She has more than enough to worry about right now, without adding money to the mix, and Im hoping we can ease that worry for her.
