Be a "warrior" for Bella!

Bella Boyer is a beautiful, fun, talented, adorable 13-year-old girl who has been diagnosed with Stage IV Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. Her treatment plan will require multiple inpatient hospital visits lasting 5 days to receive chemotherapy and radiation. During chemotherapy cycles, she can't leave her hospital floor since it is administered around the clock for 102 hours. She will receive chemotherapy every 21 days for three months; then, she will start combined chemotherapy and radiation for approximately 2 months. When she isn't at the hospital for inpatient therapy, she will be closely monitored with lab draws and outpatient visits. If she develops signs or symptoms of infection or if her blood counts drop, then she will be readmitted to the hospital. She will get a sepsis workup or blood transfusion and hydration. That isn't bringing our Bella down though. She remains positive, brave, and strong. When able she likes to create art, hang with her friends, play soccer, and have movie marathons. We are so proud of this girl.  She is a fighter. She calls her cancerous tumor "Fat Amy."
