Blake Crowson Percussion Scholarship Fund

The Blake Crowson Percussion Scholarship will fund 2 percussionists for the 2020-2021 season: 1 for Shadow Drum and Bugle Corp
and 1 for Freedom Indoor Percussion .
This scholarship is in honor of Blake Crowson, a talented 18-year old snare player who died tragically in a car accident on April 28th, 2020.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who :
-have been offered a contract to one of the two corps
-demonstrate financial need
-have shown dedication, drive and passion for their art and craft
Students will submit an application, letters of recommendation, proof of financial status and go through an interview process by the directors of the corps and administrator of the scholarship fund.
Students awarded the scholarship will have 100% of their marching dues and fees paid in full for the season.
Thank you for your contribution to this fund. Drumming was Blake's one true passion and his memory and legacy lives on through it.
