How do I hear people describe Bob Winn?   Oh he is...........
 "that coach I see leading a parade of runners along my street" 
"an incredible teacher that taught for over 35 years at the Wells High School",
"a talented craftsman who builds homes" 
"a staple in Ogunquit and works tirelessly serving on the Select Board"

Bob  Winn actually grew up in Ogunquit, went to the Ogunquit Village School
and graduated from Wells High School. 
Running is not only an obsession but his way of life.   Bob  has given his students
the love of running and lead his teams to several state championships. 
He was himself a national elite runner, was inducted into the
Maine Running Hall of Fame and received several awards in his running career.   
However, its ever been about awards or accolades for him.   
Rather kids’ lives, self-worth,  well being, happiness and success in  
& outside of school have been what's mattered most to him.  

It is in this spirit that the Ogunquit Residents Alliance is establishing the
Bob Winn Scholarship Fund at Wells High School in his honor.
This scholarship will  annually award two college bound seniors who embody
his Run to Winn spirit, character, service, and work ethic.
