Bomere Heath Cricket Club Drainage Drive!
Donation protected
Nestled in the village of Bomere Heath lies our Cricket Club. A cherished space where dreams thrive and bonds deepen. It's more than just a field; it's our sanctuary, where the crack of bat on ball echoes, and camaraderie blossoms amidst the lush green fields. But our sanctuary is under threat.
Every time the rain falls heavily, our field transforms into a muddy quagmire, rendering it unplayable for days on end. This isn't just a frustration for our dedicated players; it's a significant obstacle to the future of our club. Countless hours are spent on the ground each Spring to bring the ground to a playable condition and this job is getting harder year on year. With our heavy schedule and popular Bonfire night, there is only so long that the ground can cope.
That's why we're launching this crowdfunding campaign—to save our cricket field. We desperately need to invest in drainage improvements to ensure that our ground remains playable, whatever the weather. With your support, we can install essential drainage systems that will allow water to flow away quickly, keeping our field in prime condition year-round.
But this campaign is about more than just fixing our field; it's about preserving a vital community asset. Our cricket club isn't just a sports team; it's a hub of activity, bringing together people from all walks of life. From the excitement of match days to the camaraderie of post-game drinks, our club is a place where friendships are forged and memories are made.
By supporting our crowdfunding campaign, you're not just helping us fix a problem; you're investing in the heart of our community. You're ensuring that future generations will have the opportunity to enjoy the magic of cricket on our historic field.
Join us in this vital mission to save our cricket ground. Together, we can ensure that our field remains a place where dreams continue to flourish and where the bonds of community grow stronger with each passing season.
