Born Free Challenge by Flowers Band
In aid of Mental Health Awareness week, Flowers Band are helping to raise money and awareness of mental health by launching the 'Born Free Challenge' to spread some kindness and joy in these difficult times for everyone.
The Born Free Challenge is a simple, fun challenge that pretty much anyone can join in with. Here’s how the challenge works:
Step 1: CREATE – Record a short video of you performing the opening to the classic song ‘Born Free’. You can play it on any instrument any way you like. The more creative and funny it is the better! A copy of the sheet music can be found on the Flowers Band Facebook page at facebook.com/FlowersBand or by clicking here
Step 2: NOMINATE – You should then nominate or tag 3 friends to also attempt the Born Free Challenge. Post your video on your favourite social media site such as Facebook or Twitter, adding the hashtag #bornfreechallenge and copying the donation link into your post.
Step 3: DONATE – Visit the Born Free Challenge donation page by going to GoFundMe.com and searching for ‘Born Free Challenge’. Then make a donation of just £5, which all goes straight to the Mental Health Foundation.

Have fun!
EDIT: If you'd like a copy of the sheet music to play the Born Free Challenge, click here to get a PDF of it in various keys (whichever is most suitable for your instrument!)
