Boro SOUP 36 - CoVid Support
Help support grass-roots responses to Covid in Middlesbrough!
Every two months we host Boro SOUP: a live crowdfunding supper giving us the chance to raise money and awareness for creative community projects. This month we're focusing on projects who will make a difference locally during this global pandemic.
Three grass-roots projects will be pitching at an online event on Thurs 16th and all money raised here will be split between them.
Crafting PPE equipment for James Cook Hospital staff, supporting isolated BME Teessiders and a group delivering food to vulnerable Teessiders self-isolating and shielding planning creative spaces to offer mutual help; your money will be matched by local business and go to VERY good use in and around Boro. Boro SOUP has been raising cash through these events for nearly 5 years. We've been blown away by 93 projects so far, all doing great work in our communities. For more info on how we normally run the event, please see our website.
