DAY 1 | Over 100 boxed meals contributed to our local hospital workers and medical personnel today at Evergreen Healthcare! Our team at Royal India would like to continue supporting our networks of strength during these unprecedented times.
We are accepting and would love any support from the community to help keep this a rolling effort so that our local hospitals are well fed and thriving! We're so grateful for all those who are in the front lines, working heroically and selflessly.
$5 will aid in providing one full boxed meal to local healthcare staff. Our team will prepare, pack and personally deliver these meals to local hospitals. We are wanting to expand our efforts to neighboring hospitals so that everyone in our community may feel the love and support. We will be taking this initiative day by day and posting updates to keep you all in the loop on this journey!
UPDATE | DAY 2: Completed our second drop-off of 50 hot boxed lunches of Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Vegetable Curry, and Basmati Rice at Evergreen Hospital today.
Having graciously surpassed the GoFundMe goal initially set up, with the help of our community as well as many others from around the world, (SO MUCH GRATITUDE) we wish to continue with this initiative and momentum..
We are now working closely with EvergreenHealth Foundation to fulfill any meal requests at this time and ensure that nutritious food is being delivered to our public health workers.
Once we have met the needs at local hospitals, we plan to move forward by reaching out to our First Responders at Fire Departments followed by homeless shelters that may be in need of food.. (open to more suggestions).
This is a growing effort that can only sustain itself by the help of family, friends, and everyone in this community! Now is the time to stay united and stay strong! Lets keep our heroes fed!
