Bridge the Digital Divide support the Kramden Inst

Tax deductible
We are a group of friends, neighbors, and co-workers concerned about disparities in our communities that are being exacerbated by COVID-19. By pooling donations, we know we can have a much bigger impact than any of us can have alone. Our goal is to help address immediate and long-term needs. We have identified two organizations to support and have established a GoFundMe campaign for each of them, the Kramden Institute and the Chatham Solidarity Fund.  We have established a GoFundMe campaign for each of them and are excited by the initial support for both.

This campaign is for the Kramden Institute's efforts to bridge the digital divide by providing computers to students and families without a computer in their home and to teach critical computer, software and Internet skills. Kramden recycles and reuses donated computers and parts, extending their lives and reducing e-waste.

The other GoFundMe campaign is for the Chatham Solidarity Fund, which is raising funds for families and individuals who have been financially impacted by the pandemic. They won’t receive stimulus checks or unemployment insurance because of their immigration status, even though they work and pay federal, state, social security, and other taxes. The Chatham Solidarity Fund will help ensure that some of the most vulnerable families can make it through this crisis.

Thank you for being part of this collective giving effort and for inviting many others to join.
