CAM Abaco Volunteer Eric Weiler - Medical Fund

Donation protected

In the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, Christian Aid Ministries' (C.A.M.) skilled teams of volunteers have provided much needed relief to the Abacos.  In the months since the storm, C.A.M. volunteers have given selflessly to communities throughout Abaco.

On February 10th, 2020 C.A.M. volunteer Eric Weiler, a 19-year-old Iowa native, was severely injured in an accident while working on a roof on Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas.  Eric's fall necessitated air ambulance transport from Abaco to West Palm Beach where he is being treated at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Eric sustained injuries to his back and arms which will require surgeries and substantial physical therapy in the coming days.

Funds raised here will be made available to Eric and his family to help with the costs of his medical bills as well as the family's travel and lodging costs to be with Eric while he recovers in West Palm Beach.  Eric's brother Ruben who was volunteering alongside Eric is currently with him in West Palm Beach.

Eric and his family are members of Shekinah Mennonite Church in Greentop, Missouri.  Donations may be sent directly to Shekinah Mennonite Church and marked for Eric.
