Chrissy Harker's Treatment and Bucket List Fund

As you probably know, Chrissy was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer at the beginning of 2019. Over the past few years, she has undergone several types of chemotherapy, radiation, multiple surgeries and complications. Unfortunately, her cancer started progressing this year, and has two new tumours on each side of her pelvis and two tiny spots on her brain. She tried to re-challenge her first line of treatment over the past few months, but it was too much to handle.

She's now facing her last line of treatment, something called TAS-102, which is stupidly expensive. With government funding, it will be $2300/month.

So that's why we're all here. The goal is to get Chrissy three months of treatment, which will cost $6900.

In addition, Chrissy has been living on government disability these past few years, which is basically nothing. So some of the funds raised will also be going towards allowing Chrissy to do all the things she wants to do without having to stress about the costs. It may be small things, like extra money to go for coffees with friends or take an art class and spend time doing her hobbies. Who knows, maybe we can even get Chrissy to experience some of her dreams, like taking Sam to Japan or experiencing the Northern Lights.
