Clayton's Med Fund, Support Amputee & ACJ Survivor
Donation protected
Pool up for Clayton! On March 24, 2022, Clayton McCray of Pittsburgh filed a lawsuit against Allegheny County Jail’s (ACJ) Medical Director, medical staff, and the jail's former Deputy Warden after being denied standard medical care, prescribed medical devices, and outside treatment for months, which ultimately required him to have a right below-the-knee amputation in 2020 at age 26. You can read more about his case here.
While Clayton seeks justice for the neglect and malpractice that led to his amputation, he continues to endure a lifelong battle, living with chronic illness and disability. Clayton was recently hospitalized, fighting to recover from exacerbated infection due to the long-term lack of treatment while incarcerated at ACJ. All donations crowdfunded through this GoFundMe will go directly to Clayton McCray so he can pay his hospital bills and other medical expenses while working to hold ACJ accountable.
