Hello! My name is Anne, Clint’s (favorite) cousin. Last Friday, May 20th, Clint was driving home from work and had a seizure. He started having vision changes, and within seconds couldn’t see. Luckily, he was able to hit his breaks before going unconscious. He crossed into oncoming traffic and into the ditch. Thank god there were no other vehicles involved in the accident and Clint didn’t have any major injuries from the crash.
Unfortunately after getting to the hospital, they found that the seizure was due to a tumor in Clint’s brain. He was transferred to the cities to consult with the neurosurgery team. At first, they thought they would be able to remove the entire tumor. Clint had surgery one Wednesday May 25. During surgery, the doctor found a couple more tumors, and was able to remove all except part of one. We are waiting on biopsy results, but the doctors said it does look like cancer. He was discharged home today.
Clint will likely need chemo and radiation very soon. He has many restrictions and will not be able to work or drive for quite a while.
On top of all this, Clint’s wife Denise, is due with their second child any day now. She will also be out of work on Maternity leave.
I am so thankful for Clint’s positive attitude, his amazing wife, the great doctors, and his HUGE support system.
Let’s try and take a load off their shoulders and help with medical bills.
We love you Clint!!
