There's a problem with women in tech: there aren't many.
And for many women looking to make an entrance in the world of software development it may seem like a daunting path filled with many challenges.
With all the negative press about misogyny, sexism and gender discrimination I've realized that we need to utilize the innovative spirit of the world of technology to solve this problem. And we are the solution.
I'm a 24 year old female from a low-income background making the career change and by my 25th birthday I will be a software developer. And I want to fix the girl-to-dave ratio by donating 10% of my first year's salary to help fund tuition for a coding intensive program for another woman like me. The catch? She will be required to do the same. And so on and so forth.
And I need your help.
Fund me so I can fund it forward and together we can change the industry one woman at a time.
