Live events will be one of the last things to come back as restrictions on public gatherings begin to be lifted. There has been so much amazing online content to come out of this challenging time, and we are excited to announce Brooklyn Runaways' newest cabaret initiative: CONTAGIOUS CABARET!
Episode #1 features some of our favorite performers as they help us launch an ambitious and fun online video series. In the premiere episode, we ask them to sing some of our favorite songs and interpret them in new and exciting ways. Everyone involved will then get to nominate another performer by assigning them a song to sing. Tune in to see who they challenge for next time!
All donations raised through Contagious Cabaret fundraisers will go directly to the artists involved. Help us support the performers, musicians, and technicians who have been some of the hardest hit by this pandemic. Our goals are to adapt our programming to a format that suits the current climate, provide quality entertainment, and create opportunities for artists to be paid.
