Corinth Dog Park
Donation protected
The City of Corinth is excited to support local Girl Scout, Piper Davison, and her Gold Award project! Piper has proposed to build a Dog Park in the Corinth Community Park, off of Corinth Parkway. Piper has been a Girl Scout for 10 years. She has earned her Bronze and Silver Awards. The Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award a Girl Scout can earn.
Piper's Vision: To provide a safe and inviting space for dogs to exercise and socialize off leash with other dogs and their owners.
The location is an unused practice football field that has pre-existing parking, lighting, plumbing, and irrigation.
Thank you to Katherine Utecht, of Kimley-Horn, for helping with the design of the park! Her amazing architect skills captured Piper's vision perfectly in the artist's conception.
Donations will help fund specific items needed for the dog park such as separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, a third fenced area to rotate between small/large dogs during routine maintenance of the other two areas, drinking fountains for dogs, waste stations, benches for owners, agility equipment for dogs, signs for park rules, and cement for sidewalks.
This will be a lengthy and expensive project, but well worth the enjoyment in the end! Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support!
