Dark Devices Film

Donation protected
This dark, true-to-life story will follow 12-year-old Lucy, who gets pulled into the underworld of Online Grooming.

This film will also highlight many other issues that people face daily. e.g., Mental Health, Addiction, Neglect, A Mothers struggle, Bullying, Childhood Trauma which has become problematic into adulthood, generational Trauma, and friendships. The main focus highlights the dangers children face online regarding online grooming. This is real life, and it does and has happened to many more people than you probably realise.
We will show honest accounts of all the above issues that courageous people came forward and spoke to the writer about, meaning elements of this film will be based on real lived experiences.
Experts claim 500,000 predators worldwide are online daily, targeting our children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and children we know. This film will authentically portray the dark and real dangers of what can and devastatingly has happened to children that have fallen prey to such predators.
Royalties from the film will be donated to Charity; this isn't about making money but about spreading awareness.
A 10-year-old girl started this project, now 11 who wanted to help people get a foot into the industry, which was extremely difficult. Coming from a working-class, single-parent background, she understood all the barriers her parent faced when helping her break to act professionally and how Finances played a big part in that. Sophie, the lead role Lucy in this project, has established herself as a child actress this past year, winning four festival awards for Best Child Actress in 2021 and now wants to help others from deprived areas like she is by fulfilling their dreams. Seeing themself on screen!
We have professional actors as the main cast, but many day players and other roles have been given to people who have always dreamed of being actors, and now, with this project, we are making dreams come true.
Robert Campbell-Coombes, who starred in 'Still Game' cast as Dean Maitland
Dee Maxwell, a well-established Scottish Comedian and actress in 'The Last Bus' cast as Sam Lamb.
Daniel Khawar, who is on CH4 Screw cast as Donnie Sinclair
Callum Beattie, a Scottish singer, is part of the cast.
With many other notable actors/actresses, you can check all out on our Social Media pages.
This project will not only educate and raise awareness about different issues people face daily when released but will give so many the vital gift of SELF-BELIEF.
If you can not donate, please like our page, post on social media, and share. The more people we can reach, the more awareness we can teach.
Thank you for taking the time to read.nd it does and has happened to many more people than you probably realise.
