David Johnson's Young Ambassadors European Tour

My name is David Johnson, and I am 16 years old. I am going to be a Junior this year at Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Missouri.
My passion is music. I play the french horn in my high school band, I play the piano, and most of all, I love to sing! I hope to be able to use my talent in singing to gain scholarships for college. I competed all the way to the State level this last year as a Sophomore and was awarded a silver rating which was a wonderful experience. Here is a video clip of that solo performance:
Because of my performance at the Statewide competition, I have been selected to participate in a special state-level choir of elite vocalists called the Missouri Young Ambassadors of Music that will tour and perform in 7 countries across Europe in June 2020 through Voyageurs International (https://www.voyageursinternational.com/). We will travel to and perform concerts in England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Italy. Only students who progressed through local, district and then State competition were even considered for this honor. I am humbled and excited to be able to have the opportunity to travel and experience these other countries and cultures and to share the universal language of music.
Part of my responsibility in getting to go on this trip is to find sponsorship to cover my expenses. I have already earned and sent in my $700 deposit, and have to raise and pay the remainder of the money by November 15, 2019.
It would be such an honor to go and sing with the Missouri Young Ambassadors, and I think this will not only help me further develop my vocal abilities, but this opportunity would also help me in my pursuits for scholarships as I get closer to applying for college.
