On Saturday May 29th, our family suffered a tragic loss.
Ronqaule was taken into custody by Racine County Sherriff after a routine traffic stop. We were told that he was acting "intoxicated and impaired" breathalyzer results showed that he had a .0% BAC.
The last time I spoke with him, he said he was on his way home. That was the last time I would hear his voice. About 10 hours later, I received a knock on my door by the local police department to notify me that they found him unresponsive in his cell and medical emergency attempt was unsuccessful. No other information was given to me at that time, we were left confused and heartbroken.
With zero answers, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We contacted Racine County Sherriff Office and were told various stories about what had happened. Yet the truth was never told.
Racine County Sherriff’s Department released a statement on my behalf without my permission. They kept pressuring me not to talk to any media outlets. I WANT HIS STORY KNOWN TO ALL!
Ronquale was an amazing fiancé, father, step-father, brother, and friend. He was looking forward to the birth of his first son in September. This loss is immeasurable.
We are asking for donations to help give him a proper burial and funeral service.
