Hello, my name is James Anderson from DEPHER CIC UK

We are a well-established and fully trusted community interest company that is based in Burnley, Lancashire.

We assist members of the public in many areas of the UK, remotely assisting with the cost of emergency plumbing and heating, food, gas, electricity and much more.

Depher was established in 2017, and we have built the CIC to become a beacon to over a million people since the start of our journey.

This fire was allowing #carbonmonoxide into the living room of an 87-year-old gentleman.

He said

" I'm cold and need my fire, but when I turn it on, it makes me tired and sick,"

We attended immediately, a full and FREE SERVICE, was carried out, it is now fully safe, and he will live for many more years.

We now believe that the next step for Depher is to have emergency staff in every area of the UK, to establish a direct workforce that will be employed directly by Depher and belong to the people who need it the most.

This will include;

Gas Engineers

Handypersons

Volunteers

Food drives

Gas and Electric hubs

This will then enable us to deliver a life-saving service to every home in the United Kingdom, giving the people the service they require without going into major debt.

The service will reduce;

Poverty

Hunger

Debt

Suicide

Crime

Loneliness

Domestic Violence

Pressure on the NHS

We have proven over the last 6 years that Depher can and does work, we have already come through a pandemic and are now through a cost-of-living crisis, we are robust and we know 100% that this can and will be achieved.

We now need you to believe in us again as you have over the years, supporting us will give the people of this country a voice again, a roar of hope and community.

An elderly couple facing a cold winter could not pay their gas debt, depher not only paid the full amount for them, but we also fitted them a free boiler.

The depher teams and staff work 7 days a week to deliver a lifeline to those who have been rejected and cannot find answers, we remove the red tape and the hurdles with direct help to the people.

We do not have fancy wages or bonus systems, every penny goes to the heart of the problem and the heart of the country

We are raising funding to help us continue our essential and life-saving service for our Elderly, Vulnerable and disabled members.

The government and councils do not support Depher CiC with any form of funding or donations; we rely on the kindness and generosity of the public and high-profile community members.

We send food to families and individuals all over the UK every week and support hundreds with gas and electricity top-ups.

THIS YEAR WE ARE EXPECTING OVER 45,000 DEATHS DUE TO COLD HOMES; IT COULD BE OVER 75,000 WITH THE EFFECT OF THE COST OF LIVING CRISIS.
