Destiny Cooper is a an 8th grade student at DeRenne Middle School. She needs a heart transplant due to Restrictive Cardiomyopathy Heart Disease. She lives in Savannah with her adoring mother, Nadiyah Gordon and her loving siblings. Prior to becoming extremely exhausted by simply during her daily routines she enjoyed dancing and playing UNO. She dreams of visiting Paris and becoming a “normal” teenager. Her favorite colors are pink, purple, and teal.
Destiny was placed on the heart transplant list in November of 2019. The Gordon family must raise $10,000 to help cover the cost of her bimonthly visits to her cardiologist in Atlanta, Georgia along with other medical cost. Destiny must receive a transplant within the next 12 months in order to increase her chances of survival. The Cooper Gordon family appreciates all donations.
