Barbara is a beautiful 21 year old, who has dealt with severe medical illness her entire life. She is a very frail and only 27kg, which doesnt allow for much quality of life, she unfortunately is now under palliative services and doesnt have a very long lifespan remaining.
To remain at home with her single mother and out of hospital, she requires the use of medical equipment - Hospital Bed, Wheel chair, Shower chair and pressure mattress. Unfortunately due to her mother being a pensioner they are unable to pay for this equipment ($250/week) The company is wanting their money and NDIS and the hospital will not fund these outstanding costs - which I believe is DISGUSTING.
She is on a syringe driver for pain relief and she doesnt deserve this financial stress during such a difficult time for her and her mother.
She needs funds for the outstanding Medical hire and future end of life care services to assist her mother for the best send off she deserves and last of her life to LIVE TO ITS ABSOLUTE BEST
