Leo Rising is halfway there!
We are setting out to raise the final $10,000 to purchase a fully-outfitted Airstream Salon. With $10k already raised, we are SO CLOSE to making this happen! For over two years, Leo Rising has been working to purchase an Airstream camper to use as a mobile salon that will travel to homeless shelters, centers for human traffic victims, hospitals, and other nonprofit organizations to provide FREE hair and hygienic services for women and children-- some of whom have not had their hair cut (or, in many cases, washed) in months-- or even years! This unit will enable us to serve many at-risk women and children who have endured unimaginable hardships. Our clients have faced significant trauma, neglect, homelessness, sexual assault, abuse, and various other challenges. These remarkable survivors are on their journey to healing. For Leo Rising, this project means everything. The mobile salon will provide the accessibility, convenience, and safety needed to offer free haircuts and services, helping to restore dignity to so many! We have the chance to obtain a fully equipped mobile salon that is ready to go! With only $10,000 more to raise, we can be up and running!
