Dreams for Dylan
Donation protected
On December 17th, 2020, Dylan Lawrence woke up as a junior at Montgomery Central High School who loved playing the guitar, spending time with his family and was looking towards future college plans. By the end of the day the Lawrence family would receive the most devastating news that any parent could receive. Their 16 year old son Dylan was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) which is an inoperable brain stem tumor that has no cure and a 0% survival rate. There are ongoing clinical trials, but to date there has been no success. His prognosis is less than 1 year with treatment. So, the family wants to make the best year for him and all of his dreams come true.
The Lawrence Family is working hard to process this tragic news but they are surrounded by the love of their friends and family. With such an aggressive tumor, time is short and the family is facing a sudden and unexpected financial need.
All funds raised will be going towards making Dylan's life as fulfilling as possible in his remaining days. This will involve travel expenses for Dylan's mother Heather, who lives in Florida, travel to Texas for clinical trials and most importantly, travel and life experiences for Dylan. Ultimately, all remaining funds will go towards eventual hospice care and end of life expenses for Dylan.
His family and friends know where Dylan's path leads and though the path is short, they are committed to making it as vibrant and as beautiful as the spirit of this young man. Your help is needed in this desperate hour to help make Dreams for Dylan come true.
