Johns Story:
October 2019, John Brennan (13) suffered a brain hemorrhage at home while doing his homework. Saving his life came down to minutes and it has been touch and go many times since. John was not expected to survive, but he is a fighter. John endured multiple surgeries, 5 weeks in the ICU, and 14 weeks in acute rehab in Boston.
John came home in late February, and has a long road to recovery ahead of him. The long term prognosis is promising thanks to continuous prayers being said around the world, the ongoing support of friends/family and to his amazing medical teams.
As so many answered the call for prayers, so did many reach out wanting to help financially. All know the shortcomings of insurance, the ongoing expenses during such an ordeal and the cost of quality rehabilitation. And all want to give John his best shot at coming home, returning to school, and making Eagle Scout with Troop 9.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing support for Bill, Caroline, Cate and John during this very difficult time, and we ask that you please keep the family and John’s amazing medical teams in your prayers.
Love,
The Friends of John Brennan
