Save The Quarry!

Tax deductible

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Real Men Charities, Inc. to “SAVE THE QUARRY”. When the organization formed its social enterprise in 2018, it also incurred back tax debt. After renovating the cultural arts center in 2019, The Quarry was set to take off in 2020. Unfortunately, the pandemic stalled the ability to use forecasted revenue to pay down the property taxes. As a shuttered venue that was unable to benefit from the PPP program, we need your help and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

The Quarry may be stripped from the community for back taxes. With over $500K invested in the building, Real Men Charities needs you to preserve this gem for our community. More information about Real Men Charities, Inc’s Quarry Event Center: The Quarry is owned by the social enterprise created by Real Men Charities Inc. That entity, Real Community Investment Group purchased The Quarry in July 2018.

Our mission is:
To be the hub around which South Shore gathers to experience itself as a positive, safe, powerful, resource-rich, connected, community, worthy of living and staying in Chicago.

To be a place that will attract culinary and health-related entrepreneurs and artists seeking affordable, flexible space to anchor their work, learn, grow, and connect with resources and meet potential clients and like-minded others.
