Erraid Isle is a small spiritual community that is part of the Findhorn Foundation. Located on a remote island off the west coast of Scotland, we offer our guests an opportunity to immerse in raw nature, to connect to spirit, to experience an established intentional community and to participate in the joy of work that serves others.
Community members have been welcoming guests here for over 40 years and giving them an embodied experience that for many is life changing. Today we are appealing for the support of those who know of this island, and the special gifts it offers, so that we can continue to flourish here and so that we can continue to welcome those who would otherwise not be able to afford to come to visit us.
We are launching a Bursary Fund now because, as a result of Covid-19 precautions, we had to close to guests. We need income to continue to thrive and as we open our doors again to guests we are having to change our offer in a way that may preclude some people from visiting. We are encouraging guests to stay longer if they wish to have the opportunity to integrate more fully into our community, asking them to live separately for two weeks in one of our beautiful cottages on arrival. We have also had to reluctantly decide not to host work exchange guests until at least October. We recognise that not everyone will be able to afford to come and therefore we need your help to ensure they don't miss out on the experience of joining us.
Your support will also help this community, that we know so many people love, as it will provide us with revenue to cover our essential costs once bursaries are allocated to specific individuals.
