Help The Kids As Dad Battles Cancer

A member of my/our baseball family, Franco Esposito, is battling cancer. The Esposito family have been very private concerning this matter. Franco and Kim wanted to continue living as normal as possible to avoid disruptions for their children, Gabriella and Franco. Gabriella is in Rhode Island working and in school to be an Employment lawyer. She only has one more year before she can take her Bar exam. Little Franco (thats my way of differentiate the Franco's) attends Alvernia University in PA for criminal justice. His goal is to be an officer and work his way up to working with K9s. Little Franco also plays baseball for Alvernia. This past week Mr. Franco was admitted into the hospital. The family did not receive good news. However, there is hope. Franco's cancer has spread into more areas. Additionally the tumor on one side of his liver is not allowing the other side of his liver to function. Oncologists are researching a chemo treatment. Please say a prayer that a treatment will be found. As I heard this news, I thought to myself how can I help? Knowing how private Mr. Franco Esposito is and knowing on his worst of days he would try to be there for both his kids, I thought Franco wouldn't want this about him. Through his whole journey, it hasn't been about him. It's been, how can I walk this journey with the least impact to my children. So, that's what brought me to reach out to set this fundraiser up. I want Franco to know we are working on helping his kids continue their education, have the means and funds to live in RI and PA to attend school and travel home for visits. In raising funds, I'm hoping this will relieve some worries from Franco that we are helping with his #1 gift, his children and give him some peace of mind, so he can focus on kicking Cancer's A**.
