First New Canaan Baptist Church

First New Canaan Baptist Church was built by my grandparents and its church members on August 29, 2001. My grandmother, Rev. Reather Bell Moody-Kennedy, is the founder and current pastor. This gofundme page is being ran by First New Canaan's youth division. I, Alicia Kennedy, am the main admin. Our goal is to raise money for reconstruction!
Our little church needs serious work done to it after 18 years. The roof is falling apart, the light fixtures are starting to come down, we've recently had problems with plumbing, the stairs and ramps are becoming unsafe to walk on, the outer walls are breaking down, we have dealt with termites which has left damage, our next door building and shed have been broken into more than three times, trees have fallen down in the yard and many other hazardous issues!
FNCBC church has never been super fancy and we’re currently small in numbers but we love to do the Lord’s work! We have updated many things over the years but currently lack the finances to take care of these big issues. In order to keep our church doors open, more change must happen and it starts with the foundation. Any donations would be a blessing as long as it comes from the heart! Thank you in advanced if you do donate and pray for our church as we set out on this journey!
