Help Us Fight Student Hunger on Kalamazoo's College Campuses.

Free College Meals From Mom needs your help to raise $50,000 to feed food-insecure college students attending Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College. Your charitable and tax-deductible donation will provide free dinners on Mondays and Thursdays during the academic school year.

Supporting Free Meals from Mom will give our college students nutritious meals and a break from the struggle to find and prepare not onlydelicious food, but at no cost to them! Many of us remember what it's like to be in their position with homework, a social life and thephysicality of college taking its toll. Their next meal is not always at arm's length without effort!

When students have access to regular meals, they can focus better, have a higher chance of succeeding in college, and that leads to better career prospects and a brighter future.

Volunteering and making your donation now fosters a sense of community and empathy. It shows kindness, solidarity, and teaches a valuable lesson about compassion and the importance of helping others.

FACTOID: According to a study from Western Michigan University, 22 percent of enrolled students are food insecure.

Free College Meals From Mom is a membership club dedicated to fighting hunger on Kalamazoo's college campuses. We are a project fund of the Broncos Kitchen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established to combat hunger at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College. All net proceeds from our membership drives and fundraisers are used to support Broncos Kitchen --a free dinner service for college students. Meals are served at the Wesley Foundation, located across the street from Western Michigan University's Business College.
