This is a Fundraiser for Valentino: Volume 1, the first chapter in a story about a heartbroken Cupid, being manipulated into a final showdown with the powerhouse God of Hate. Originally launched as a Kickstarter Project in October 2020, and unsuccessful in hitting it's 10k funding goal, we are now trying to raise the money needed to complete creation of this opening chapter of Valentino's saga.
While I can forego payment as Writer, Creator, Producer, and Designer, I need to be able to pay my Art Team. What follows is a Breakdown of Where Our $7,000 Goal will go...

Meet the godling of love, Valentino......formerly known as Cupid.
Long ago, Cupid fell in love with the beautiful Psyche. They were happy for centuries, until she cheated on him and broke Love’s heart.
Once immortal and powerful, now reduced down to base level survival, roaming the planet, intoxicating victims with his essence & feeding off of their pheromones in order to survive.
Trading in his legendary bow for twin desert eagles, the godling of Love has lost his way. Dark, twisted, and cold...this is not the Cupid of lore.
Unbeknownst to him...the god of Hate, Odium, has been gathering his power. Taking the form of a United Nations diplomat, he fuels the fires of hatred around the world...gorging himself on the rewards.
With an absent god of Love, Hate is growing...
But salvation may come just in time, in the form of the deity of Balance...Karma.

Valentino - He is immortal, the godling of Love aka "Cupid". But his body needs the “essence of love” to survive. He needs a combination of body heat, physical contact, and the phermones humans give off when in love or lust. Without these, he would die.
Karma - Light hearted and good humored, she has come to accept the good and the bad in life, and knows everything can’t always be rosey. Karma has developed a smart ass, good natured, sense of humor to it all.
Odium - Once Odium was a scrawny little punk, begging for table scraps from his parents. But not anymore. For centuries he’s been coercing and manipulating humans, nuturing their hate and rages to a boiling point...all the while making himself stronger.
Zues - Zues represents electricity itself. Long ago, he was the lightning bolt thrower, nowadays he is the power that runs our cities. He owns 3/4 of the world’s powercompanies. He is eternal and adopts with ease.
Psyche' - The goddess of Intellectuals, the essence of the cerebral. She is cold, hard, calculating, intense, and a beast in the bedroom. Cupid was an enigma to her...a challenge. He was a toy for her to disect and study, then like a bored child, she threw him away.
Ares - The god of War has tamed in his old age. Taking Zues up on an offer to provide security for the Elder God, Ares is enjoying the plush life...the best mortals have to offer in women, cars, drugs, and orgies. But he still itches to strap on the old armor, and slay a few million...

MY VISION OF THE FUTURE: 3 volumes, 3 chapters, Infinite possibilities:
I created Valentino almost 20 years ago. Starting out as a more battle-hardened warrior-Cupid with only 1 eye (yet two pupils in said eye, *shrug*) he evolved over the years, to embody heartbreak and pain, hiding a unique existence below layers of loathing and angst. Gone was the original oversized bow, and in came the 3 ft long silencer guns with extended clips, and the self scarring. I wanted Valentino to represent "rock bottom heartbreak" and built his world around that. An overzealous father. A sympathetic lighthearted love interest. An overpowered villain, that represents the Yin to his Yang. A melting of modern day society with gods of anchient myth. Etc, etc, etc.
Valentino's first saga, is broken into a 3-volume hero’s redemption story arc. After the completion of this 3 volume epic, I have plans for two more sagas, expanding the universe in some interesting and surprising directions, as well as a hidden overarching reveal. But I don't want to give anything away...just yet...
But in order to get there, I can't do it on my own. I need your help, support, and spreading the word, if you love this project. Only as a community, will this project see the light of day. I was only able to reach 13,000 people with my first campaign, and there's still 7 billion more people on this planet. I believe Valentino strikes a cord with anyone that's been hurt, or in love, or felt lost in their life. And that's only the tip of the story's iceberg. With your help, let's spread the word and bring this project to full fruition!
